The largest recorded piece of a dramatic East African overprint error.
This full upper-left corner sheet-marginal block of six of the 1960 Kenya Uganda Tanganyika Lion 1/- displays a clear, non-coincident doubling of the overprint across all six stamps. The discovery sheet yielded just twenty clear copies, the doubling most pronounced towards the uppermost left, so that this block gathers the very finest examples known. Post Office fresh and unmounted mint, it is accompanied by a letter from Mr Alan Leverton of Bridger & Kay confirming it to be the largest piece.
