A superb transitional strip capturing a colour progressively vanishing before the eye.
This top sheet-marginal vertical strip of five of the Australia 1969 Christmas 5c shows the upper stamp with the yellow (from the background) omitted, the adjoining stamps displaying progressive part omissions of the same colour. It is a superb transitional piece, of which just twenty copies were discovered. The strip is Post Office fresh and in unmounted mint condition, and is accompanied by a David Brandon Certificate.
