A dramatic Machin perforation error, scarce with just ten pairs discovered.
This 1967 3d Violet (1 CB/GA) is a right sheet-marginal block of twelve stamps in which the end vertical pair is imperforate. The variety arose from a substantial perforation shift to the left, creating the error while leaving the left side of the sheet with a double-strike of the perforation comb. Very scarce with only ten pairs known, this example additionally displays the marginal box markings and is in Post Office fresh unmounted mint condition.
