This 1840 Two Pence Deep Full Blue from Plate II, lettered G-I, is a superb fine used example showing vivid, true colour and large margins on all sides. It carries an ‘1844’ type postmark, the numeral obliterator that succeeded the Maltese Cross. A David Brandon Certificate accompanies, and the stamp is genuinely rare in this quality.
