This 1840 1d Black from Plate XI, lettered Q-H, is a superb fine used, four large margined copy tied to an immaculate, uncreased entire from Bridgewater to Glastonbury. A ‘BRIDGEWATER AP 24 1841’ date-stamp is struck alongside the adhesive, and the piece is accompanied by a David Brandon Certificate. Extremely rare and altogether outstanding.
