This vertical strip of five of the 1967 Kowhai 2½c shows the centre stamp with the deep bluish green background omitted, the adjoining stamps displaying this colour largely omitted as well. Post Office fresh unmounted mint, it is a rare and highly dramatic variety of which just ten strips existed. Simply magnificent.
