This 1840 1d Mulready letter sheet passed from London to Manchester, cancelled by an exceptional Maltese Cross in orange-red. It bears the ‘A. Cuddy, British and Colonial Trust’ advertisement printed in blue, an appealing commercial embellishment, and is rare in this fine quality.
