This 1840 1d Mulready envelope (Forme A44) is a superb used example addressed to Edinburgh, with a nearly centrally struck Maltese Cross in bright scarlet. Several c.d.s. cancellations appear on the reverse, documenting its journey. A lovely example of the issue in a most attractive cancellation colour.
