A supreme Victorian rarity, one of only two examples known to survive.
This 1866 1/- Green embossed issue from Die WW2 is a superb unused proof, printed on white paper and overprinted SPECIMEN, having been prepared for the 1867 Paris Exhibition. It ranks as a great rarity, with just one other example recorded to exist. A BPA Certificate accompanies, and the stamp carries the distinguished ex-Manzi provenance.
