This 1951 1d Pale Ultramarine survives as an extremely fine mint horizontal pair, entirely imperforate and among the more elusive errors of the King George VI period. The pair displays a bright, well-struck colour throughout, framed by large and beautifully balanced margins on all four sides. A most desirable example of a genuinely rare variety.
