This vertical strip of three from the 1986 Christmas 30c shows the yellow background omitted on the upper stamp, with the adjoining stamp only partially so, capturing the error in transition. Drawn from Row Five of the sole pane known to have yielded just ten copies, it ranks among the great rarities of modern Australian philately. Post Office fresh and unmounted, it is accompanied by a David Brandon certificate.
