A wonderful and dramatic missing-colour rarity of modern British Europe philately.
This full vertical strip of ten of the Gibraltar 1967 2d HMS Carmania (Merchant Cruiser) shows the lower stamp with the grey-blue hull omitted, while the remaining stamps display a huge upward displacement of the grey-blue ship outline, the missing impression now appearing in the top sheet margin. Just five such strips were originally discovered, of which most have since been separated. A David Brandon Certificate accompanies.
