This 1902 1d Scarlet is a very fine mint left sheet-marginal example showing the variety imperforate between the stamp and the right margin. It carries the diagonal gum crease normally associated with this rare variety, a natural consequence of the paper fold that produced the imperforate area. A superb and genuinely scarce Edwardian error.
