A celebrated King George VI perforation error, restricted to a mere ten stamps from a single sheet.
This 1934 1½d Red-Brown block of four presents its lower pair imperforate on three sides, one of the great production varieties of the Photogravure definitives. The error pair is unmounted mint and wonderfully fresh, the imperforate margins clean and well-defined. Just ten stamps from one sheet were ever affected, placing this firmly among the seldom-encountered rarities of the reign. A David Brandon Certificate accompanies.
