A rare surcharge omission on the Pitcairn Islands decimal issue, seldom found in block form.

This lower left corner block of six from the 1967 Decimal Currency issue, the 10c surcharge on the 8d Red-Footed Booby Bird, shows the centre stamp with the ’10c’ surcharge omitted, the anchor emblem still present. Post Office fresh unmounted mint, it is a rarity in this form, the variety having occurred on only a small number of sheets. A BPA certificate accompanies.
