This 1840 1d Black from Plate VI, lettered P-J, is a superb mint example on Bleute paper showing large part original gum. Vivid colour and good to large margins on all sides complete its appeal, and a David Brandon Certificate accompanies. A genuinely rare stamp, with very few mint examples known to exist.
