This Guernsey 1993 Rupert The Bear & Friends 16p mini-sheet shows the black printing doubled, and is the only known example of the error clearly displaying the doubling of the marginal inscriptions, values and Queen’s head. It is offered together with a letter from the Stanley Gibbons Catalogue Editor confirming that it would be fully listed in the 1994 Collect Channel Islands catalogue. A delightful and, on present knowledge, unrepeatable rarity for the specialist of modern Channel Islands issues.
