This 1979 Jersey 25p, issued for the 9th Conference of the World Jersey Cattle Bureau, displays the gold impression comprising the value, royal cypher and territory title dramatically doubly printed. Post Office fresh unmounted mint, it is extremely rare, with only two ‘real’ examples of this major error known to exist; numerous copies bearing a slight blanket offset circulate masquerading as the true variety, making a genuine example such as this all the more coveted.
